We are reliable suppliers of Somali Frankincense and Myrrh. Our gum and resin business has been in operation for the past three decades. It was established by our late founder, Ismail Mohamud (Suufi), who began harvesting gums in the 1950s from Mountain heights in Bari region, Somalia. He initially sold them only in the local market. Over the years, through continuous harvesting and small-scale trading, we expanded our operations to ship our carefully harvested crops to Djibouti in 1985-1988. Through several small shipments, we gained valuable knowledge about the global importance of Frankincense and Myrrh. Mohamed Ismail, the son of our founder, decided to further expand our business. In 1993, we established our own warehouse in Sharjah, UAE under the name Nahawand Trading LLC, which is still operational today. We take great pride in the achievements we have made and the reputation we have built over the past 31 years.
